The Monroe Avenue String Band is on hiatus for a while. Since many of you approached me at the Adams Avenue Roots festival this year and asked, I figured I'd post an update here.

Sarah Voytek is busy finishing her PhD at Scripps, raising two kitties and traveling back and forth between San Diego and Boston on a regular basis.

Dave Bandrowski and I have formed a new project called Plow (bluegrass/swing/old-time with attitude) along with fiddler and mandolinist, John Mailander. You can keep up with us at myspace.com/wereplow.
